WE ARE – BACK!!!
We are thrilled to tell you the State College Quarterback Club (the “Quarterback Club”) will be returning to in-person weekly Wednesday events this Fall. Once again, we will be able to join and socialize with our fellow Quarterback Club members in the Mount Nittany Club. We missed everyone and cannot wait to get back together again. To those who joined and participated in our virtual weekly events last year, thank you for your support during a difficult time for everyone.
The Quarterback Club is very excited to see the 2021 Nittany Lions in action this season. Please join us to hear insights from Head Coach James Franklin, the players, and others.</div>
As the official Penn State Football booster club, we invite you to join/renew your membership to the Quarterback Club to help continue our support of Penn State Football. Then join us throughout the season at our Wednesday weekly events. Your membership linchpins our financial support to the players, coaches, and staff.
The 2021 season will kick-off at noon against the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday, September 4
Our first weekly event will be held Wednesday, September 1st in the Mount Nittany Club of Beaver Stadium. Doors open at 11:00 am with access via Stadium Gate B, and for individuals who are handicapped, access will be available through the All Sports Museum entrance. BJC catering will again provide the buffet style lunches. Our weekly program begins at approximately 11:50 am, moderated by Steve Jones. The event will be held each Wednesday (except October 13th due to the bye week) with the last event scheduled for November 24th. However, should we win the Big 10 East and play in the BIG 10 Championship Game, we will add an additional weekly event for December 1st. Please click the link below to read the document which describes the procedures to be followed when attending each weekly event.
SCQB Club 2021 Event Procedures
Depending on availability, two football players will join Steve Jones on stage for a discussion to gain insight into the upcoming football game from the players’ perspective. Following a photograph with the week’s corporate sponsor, Coach Franklin will take to the stage for an exclusive interview with Steve Jones for lively analysis of the upcoming game. Plus, you will have the opportunity to ask both the players and Coach Franklin questions. Other special guests and staff may join us as well.
Regarding the Covid-19 virus, the Quarterback Club will follow the mask wearing protocol for indoor activities established by the Centers for Disease Control and followed by Penn State University. Therefore, anyone attending a weekly event who has not been fully vaccinated is required to wear a mask when inside the Mount Nittany Club or the All Sports Museum.
The Quarterback Club membership levels and dues will remain the same as they were in 2019 and are as follows:
$100.00 – for Individual Membership – may apply for one Football Banquet ticket
$150.00 – for a Household Couple – may apply for two Football Banquet tickets
$175.00 – to join the “Coaches Circle” as an individual – may apply for two Football Banquet tickets
$200.00 – to join the “Coaches Circle” as a household couple – may apply for three Football Banquet tickets
In addition to the Football Banquet ticket options, “Coaches Circle” membership level includes prominent name recognition in the Penn State Football Banquet Program.
All membership levels include a parking pass for the weekly events.
Weekly event prices also will remain unchanged for the 2021 season. The weekly cost is $25 per member, and $30 per guest including children of all ages. Please remember, guests may only attend one weekly event per year as a non-member, and must accompany a Quarterback Club member. Due to the anticipated large turn-out of members, however, guests may not attend the first weekly event on September 1st.
We would like to thank the Penn State Athletic Department for covering the weekly parking and some facility rental costs. We appreciate the support of the Quarterback Club by Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Sandy Barbour and the entire Athletic Department office and staff.

We are delighted to report the Quarterback Club has met its commitment and has paid that pledge in full. We were able to accomplish that goal due to the loyal support of our members as well as the contributions made directly by our members on behalf of the Quarterback Club. We sincerely appreciate it and thank you.
