Penn State-Rutgers Game to Kick at noon
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The No. 20-ranked Nittany Lions travel to Rutgers for their final road game of the regular season Saturday for a noon kick on Big Ten Network. In addition, the game will also be available on the Penn State Sports Network (10:30 a.m. airtime) and GoPSUsports.com.
Penn State is 26-2 all-time against Rutgers, including a 5-0 mark in away games. The last time the teams met in Piscataway, Penn State posted a 39-0 win in tough weather conditions in 2016. Last season, the Scarlet Knights took the early 6-0 lead, but Penn State reeled off 35 unanswered points to secure the Homecoming win. Trace McSorley was 16-for-21 for 214 yards and two touchdowns to lead the offense, while Jason Cabinda had 11 tackles, including one tackle for loss, and Brandon Smith made 10 stops to pace the defense.
